Embroidered Badges The most popular type of badge, an embroidered badge is created by stitching the design onto a base cloth, giving a textured finish, and raised design, which gives depth to the design, and an almost three-dimensional appearance. This is best of designs without small fine detail, as the threads are coarser than on a woven badge. These have the option of iron-on or sew-on application.

Woven Badges A woven badge is loom by weaved, to give a smooth finish to the surface of the design and finished with an overlocked edge. With woven badges are that you can achieve finer detail and more intricate designs. As these badges are woven you don’t get the 3D effect achieved with embroidered badges, but metallic or shiny threads can be used to create interest. These have the option of iron-on or sew-on application.
